MANAGEMENT TEAM
FOUNDER AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER - RANDY WEST
Randy has over 40 years of Oil & Gas (or Energy industry) experience and is a third generation Oil and Gas executive. He has a solid record of positioning organizations for success and executing, strategic growth initiatives across companies, delivering competitive advantage through leadership, hard work and perseverance.
Prior to CES, he was a Founding Partner of SEC Energy Products & Services. AS CEO, Randy was focused on growing SEC, while building the right teams and managing external partnerships with CAT, Ariel and Clients. Under his leadership, SEC in 4 short years became a national leader in the compression industry, with annual revenues of over $300 million and 300+ employees, SEC was ranked 45 in the top 100 private companies in Houston by the Houston Chronicle. Later in November of 2009 he managed the sale of SEC to Energy Transfer. Throughout his career Randy has held the positions of CEO, COO, VP of Operations & Engineering at 3 separate midstream companies, managing hundreds of employees in different states both onshore and offshore. Because of his hard work and dedication to the industry, Randy has a strong reputation for success and leadership.
Randy is committed not only to his work, but he is a believer in giving back to the community, Randy is passionate about philanthropic causes such as education, cancer research and children’s services.
ALLAN NICHOLS – PRESIDENT
Allan brings over 25+ years of impressive energy experience to CES’s management team. His career has been focused on the oil and gas industry both onshore and offshore where he has helped multiple companies establish and grow their businesses. Previously, he was Director of Operations for SEC Energy Products & Services, one of the largest natural gas compression packagers in the United States. While in this role Allan was responsible for all the company’s field service staff and oversaw the commissioning/startup of over 2 million horsepower in mainline compressor stations, gathering stations, treating, and processing plants and natural gas storage facilities. Prior to these responsibilities he was the Commissioning Engineer for one of the largest Caterpillar dealers and as an engine start-up expert, has extensive experience providing customer support on installations and commissioning of natural gas engines and compression equipment worldwide.
ZACH GREEN –VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Zach joined CES in 2018 as Director of Tech Services and was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2020. He began his career at SEC where he held various service and operational roles that supported the companies field services group. He brings a thorough understanding of servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining natural gas processing and treating equipment. Zach’s genuine interest in the industry and hands on experience acquired over the years in his previous roles, have been instrumental to the continued growth and development of CES as a leading service provider. Throughout his career, Zach’s most rewarding role has been in providing leadership and support to the people he works with and to the clients.
